This unique scarf was lovingly assembled by Syrian refugees. 100% of all profits from this scarf are invested back into programs for refugees and other disadvantaged people.
In a large Middle Eastern refugee camp, women are offered purposeful work, healthy community, and income to sustain their families. Twice a week, a group of Syrian refugee women gather to chat, asking questions about homes and families, before settling into their work: embellishing delicate scarves with brightly colored beads. The women, widowed or otherwise vulnerable, have built a community together, where they receive support and stability as well as income. Refugees struggle to buy food, clothing, and supplies for their children. The women depend heavily on this income to provide for their families.
